Classic Accounting Software Goes Online.
A NEW HYBRID accounting and business management system will offer SMEs much greater flexibility than its ‘off-the-shelf’ competitors, it has been claimed.
The latest WOW (Web or Windows) version of My.N means users can access the same system whether they are sitting in the office or on a train heading for a meeting.
Accounting Office Software Ltd – the people behind My.N – reckon their product already offers a more adaptable service than brand-name competitors like Sage, Netsuite and Access.
But the latest edition means everything that could be done on the windows version is now available on the internet – so you can run your business from anywhere in the world.
Commenting on the release; Jonathan Harris, Sales Director at Accounting Office Software Ltd said, “Many SME’s have rejected hosted applications because of lack of functionality, so we decided to base our Web application on our proven Windows application. This has resulted in the delivery of a highly functional mid-range business management platform.”
He goes on to say, “The Web and Windows platforms happily co-exist. This allows companies to choose a single platform, or to run a hybrid application – some users on the Web, some Windows. This ‘WOW’ factor is ideal for businesses with multiple sites or with people working on the move.”
One of the benefits of the Web interface is that it provides a flexible web portal which allows managed access for staff, customers and suppliers. “The portal gives companies the ability to extend their business out into the Cloud. It is the kind of integrated ecommerce, B2B type platform that has previously only been available to much larger companies. My.N offers enterprise style functionality to SME’s at an affordable cost.” Harris continued.
My.N is scalable which means it will grow with the customer’s business so there is no need to move existing data to another programme as the business expands.
